No more holidays

Now we're stuck till Thanksgiving till we get another break, I'm already getting stressed out about school and it's only the 3rd week. My studio is getting the better of me and my lectures are boring as hell. Not to mention I have a paper due tomorrow for my online class that I have to write tonight. Just a little frustrated, anyways Joe and I had a great holiday weekend. I went up north and spent Sunday with my mom and then Monday Joe and I spent the whole day together. I took him out to the Cheesecake factory for his birthday and it was wonderful, best time I've been there.

First week down

Well our first week of school is over, it actually went alot better than I expected. Today is Joe's 21st birthday, we went out last night with his family for dinner and then next Monday is Labor Day so I'm taking him out then. I'm a little unsure about my graphic design major (well actually now they call it visual communication design.) I'm sure it will get better, but I dont really feel interesting in my classes yet. I had to make 3 25 cenimeter squares for my studio by Tuesday and if any side is 1/2 millimeter of the whole square is trash. I don't even know what we're going to be doing with the damn things. My online classes seem to be very fast pace and I definitally going to have to keep on top of those.

Update on my grandma: She's doing better, sort of. This week is the 2 round of the different chemo, it does lower her WBC near as much, but she says it makes her hurt everywhere. I will be so happy with this is all over with. After Thursday she has 6 weeks left and then radiation. Please keep her in your thoughts, thanks ladies.

Such a bad blogger...

So I've been a very bad blogger the last few weeks, so here's a nice long post to catch everyone up. School starts Monday, which I'm not to thrilled about. My first day isn't actually till Tuesday, but Joe starts Monday. Not a whole lot has been going on here, I've been working a few more hours the few weeks before school starts. I'm hoping I can move up to technician, the vet's office where I'm receptionist is moving to a new facility farther away so hopefully I can train and move up by the time we move next year and get a pay raise. It will be interesting to see what my office manager thinks of my idea. Joe and I have been settling in to the apartmet pretty well, I drive north on the weekends to see my parents, that might slow down some once school starts.

My grandma could use some P&PTs, she's been having a rough time with her chemo for breast cancer. As of today she's halfway through chemo, only 8 weeks left and then radiation. If all goes well everything will be finished by the holidays.

Nope, I didnt fall of the face of the earth although some might think so. I started a new job almost 2 weeks ago now and I've been commuting 100 miles a day till I move to get there so that has been taking a chunk of time out of my day. After tomorrow though I have a week off, yay!

Big news is... Moving day is almost here, I have to pick up the U-haul at 7am Saturday. I only have 2 more nights in my own room. Joe seems to be so detached about moving out and it's been driving me nuts. Don't get me wrong I'm excited, but still a little sad at the same time. So after tomorrow I'll probably disappear again for a while but I hope I can get internet set up pretty quick.

Week from hell...

Needless to say this week has so far been awful. I have hardly accomplished anything it seems and I'm running out of time. So hopefully I've learned something from the past week or so, let's see.

~ Clearance furniture that is on display is still there for a reason, do not buy it.

~ It actually can take 2 hours to get your oil changed at Walmart, with 20 minutes of that standing in line waiting to pay.

~ You can pay $200 and still not have the part on your car fixed after the guy says he fixed it. (When actually he fixed the wrong part and then is still going to charge labor to fix the part he was supposed to fix in the first place.)

~ Peter Piper Pizza is horrible.

~ Scrub pants suck for small short people.

~ After everything else, it is possible to lock your keys in your car.

Ok, so every moment of the week was terrible I'll admit that. I had a pretty good Fourth, probably my last time watching fireworks that the school near my house. I was also offered a job at an animal clinic it's a little farther away than I'd like, but at least I'll be getting paid while I keep looking for something closer.

Yep, I deleted my other blog. Hopefully I'll keep this one around longer. I realized the reason it wouldn't accept my preferred username was because I had already made an account with it and conveniantly forgot about it. Anyways, I plan to keep this account and blog active.
